Mosquito Bits - prevent fungus gnats

My recommendation: I've been using Mosquito Bits this year in my watering tray - it prevents fungus gnats from hatching (along with other bugs). I add a tablespoon or so per 2 gallons of water. It's best if it sits for 24 hours. Then when I put my trays in the tub to bottom water it soaks up the dissolved bits - I just add more water as needed, then add a tablespoon afterwards for the next day. I use this in conjunction with Maggie's Farm Bug Spray for gnats that are already flying around - this bag will last a couple of seasons, and Plant Therapy for preventing fungus gnats on my newly potted up dahlia cuttings.
