Tomatoes in Germination Testing
Share
It’s always thrilling to see the tomato seedlings emerging. Most of them are successfully completing their germination tests and the seeds will be ready for sale!

Each year, I grow a mix of tried-and-true favorites, and some new varieties based on recommendations for their exceptional taste. Newcomers this year are:
Napa Chardonnay - light yellow, sweet, cherry tomato bred by Brad Gates of Wild Boar farm in California.
Pineapple - funny name for a tomato, but it’s huge usually 1-2 lb, and delicious.
Chocolate Lightening - Red tomato with green streaks and complex flavor
Favorite varieties include:
Black Krim - My favorite black tomato, although Chocolate Lightening is just as good!
Siberian Pink Honey - Large 1lb oxheart with great flavor, excellent for sauces and salsa.
Amethyst Jewel - Beautiful dark purple tomato that fades to rose, smaller slicer.
Oroma - Paste tomato that produces on a dwarf habit, only 3ft tall.
A limited number of seeds are available. Be sure to grab yours and enjoy the flavors of homegrown tomatoes!
